AIR-EVOLUTION LTD is the base south of the Alps of the Heli Alps Flight School, an approved and recognized Authorized Training Organization (AATO) by the aviation authorities, which combines experience, knowledge, professionalism and technology in order to offer future private and commercial pilots the highest level of service for instructional flights, in a professional environment beyond the usual standard levels.

A trial lesson includes a theoretical introduction of approx. 20 minutes, followed by the flight, where the instructor will demonstrate the operation of the controls and invite you to fly.

Un titolare di una licenza di pilota deve avere un’abilitazione valida per poter volare un determinato tipo di elicottero. Per ogni ulteriore tipo di elicottero è necessario che il detentore della licenza abbia suoerato con successo un corso di abilitazione (Type Rating) e un volo d’esame con un esperto.
Questo corso qualifica un pilota, detentore di una licenza PPL(H) per il volo notturno. La formazione comprende almeno 5 ore di volo con almeno 30 atterraggi ed un volo di navigazione di 50 km di distanza. Il candidato deve avere un’esperienza di volo dopo il conseguimento del PPL (H) di almeno 100 ore, comprendenti 60 ore quale pilota responsabile (PIC), di cui 20 ore di volo di navigazione. Per piloti privati viene inoltre richiesto un allenamento di volo strumentale simulato di 10 ore sull’elicottero, di cui possono essere tenute in considerazione 5 ore di simulatore.
Questa abilitazione, una particolarità della svizzera, l’autorizzerà ad effettuare degli atterraggi sulle piazze ufficiali di alta montagna durante voli privati nonché commerciali se è detentore di una licenza CPL(H). La formazione, le regalerà intense emozioni nel magnifico panorama delle alpi svizzere. Prima di iniziare con la formazione è necessario avere un’esperienza di volo di almeno 100 ore. Sono necessari almeno 200 atterraggi in alta montagna, di cui 50 atterraggi fino a 2000 m/m e 150 atterraggi sulle piazze ufficiali. Gli atterraggi devono essere eseguiti su almeno 20 piazze diverse, di cui 10 sopra una quota di 2700 m/m. La formazione termina con un volo d’esame con un esperto federale.

A pilot license holder must have a valid rating to fly a specific type of helicopter. Each additional type of helicopter requires the license holder to have successfully passed a rating course (Type Rating) and an examination flight with an expert.
This course qualifies a pilot, holder of a PPL (H) license, for night flying. The training includes at least 5 hours of flight time with at least 30 landings and a navigational flight of 50 km distance. The candidate must have flight experience after obtaining the PPL (H) of at least 100 hours, comprising 60 hours as a responsible pilot (PIC), including 20 hours of navigational flight. Simulated instrument flight training of 10 hours in the helicopter is also required for private pilots, of which 5 hours in the simulator may be taken into account.
This certification, a Swiss specialty, will authorize you to make landings on official high mountain plazas during private as well as commercial flights if you hold a CPL (H) license. The training will give you rich emotions in the magnificent panorama of the Swiss Alps.
A minimum of 100 hours of flight experience is required before starting with the training. At least 200 landings in the high mountains are required, including 50 landings up to 2000 m/m and 150 landings on official squares. Landings must be performed on at least 20 different squares, including 10 above an altitude of 2700 m/m. The training ends with an examination flight with a federal expert.
This course qualifies a pilot, holder of a CPL (H) license with type rating on turbine helicopters, to perform takeoffs in fog and high fog situations. The training includes 8 hours of simulator and at least 8 hours of simulated instrument flight, during which he/she is trained to fly the helicopter solely according to the on-board instruments.
This rating enables the pilot to transport material at the HESLO barycentric hook and is a prerequisite for employment as a material transport pilot with a helicopter company. Our experienced instructors, with many years of experience in the field, will pass on the necessary theoretical, as well as practical knowledge to you with professionalism and seriousness. Courses are offered on the various types of transport helicopters, according to your specific need.
Pilots holding FAA licenses or issued in countries outside the European Union JAA, such as the United States with FAA regulation, must convert their licenses to JAA licenses in order to fly in European Union countries.

AIR-EVOLUTION LTD offers IR (H) courses for obtaining an instrument flight license. EASA (European Aviatian Safety Agency) approved courses are conducted on Bell 429, Leonardo AW109 and AW139.
